I heard today that APD had evidence that could have led to an arrest; but instead destroyed a computer belonging to Shailey Tripp (in violation of a court order). Makes a person wonder who the police are protecting. Certainly not the victims!

Just wondering if the local PD looked into any other cameras in the area, they may have caught something...that time of night, I would think traffic would be low and persons could be contacted if any vehicle plates were visible. After 20 days...better start working outside of normal practices.

First of all, APD sucks at solving anything. The Anchorage Police use K9s even for small crimes such as petty theft and non-criminal acts which I have witnessed. Although once I was robbed at gunpoint in Anchorage and they didn't use K9s.
