Seapak Recalls Shrimp Due to Undeclared Allergen

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation confirmed Tuesday that the product had been delivered to Alaska.

Rich Products Corporation is recalling its Seapak breaded butterfly shrimp because of an undeclared allergen. The company says the coating of the shrimp may contain whey, a milk allergen, not listed on the product’s label.

 
Alaska’s Department of Environmental Conservation confirmed Tuesday that the product has been distributed in Alaska. The DEC says there have been no reported allergic reactions. 
 
The affected products are limited to these packages:
  • 22 oz. packages
  • Product code of 10302
  • “Best by” Date of January 25, 2013
  • Production Code of 7/25/2011
  • UPC code: 100 41322 10254 6
