APD leadership needs dismantling. When you have female officers leaving APD and AFD as they did a couple of years or so back saying the male culture was oppressively domineering... and then Rollins and others who must be quaking in their boots right now over having their actions revealed... this rape culture went all the way to the top a couple chiefs back... ask STAR about them. I remember APD when it was friendly and helpful and those who were police officers were respected and envied members of the community... wow that must have been in the 60's. Well those days are sure gone.

I agree with Ron's comments - is this yet another attempt at rollins trying to cut a deal to lessen his sentencing? or maybe actually get a new trial? the entire rollins family should just pack up and LEAVE! rollins needs to just...rot in prison. no breaks, no favors, absolutely NOTHING in his favor anymore!

this makes me sick to my stomach. he used to be my dare officer in elementary school and middle school i thought he was a really nice guy and i looked up to him. this just goes to show how corrupt law enforcement is

Take the fines off the top of all paychecks as a percentage if it doesnt cost tham all you wont get it cleaned up!!

You got to be joking. A filthy criminal, "A POLICE OFFICER AT THAT",and they seal his files? What a fat joke.When someone that is suppose to be protecting the public,with a city job, commits crimes of such disgusting magnetude should NOT get ANY kind of breaks!He is the lowest of the low, gutter scum and deserves nothing. Screw his rights, give the victims THEIRS FIRST!!!Hope he fries, they should reinstate the death penalty, he is of no good to anyone.

Wait until they get into the testimony about the other Anchorage Police Officers involved in this stuff. When the identities of the other Officers involved in the APD "Rape Squads" become known, the lawsuits will multiply.
