Controversial changes to Anchorage's Title 21 program will be outlined for the public for the first time Aug. 1.
Anchorage Mayor Dan Sullivan hired former Anchorage Assemblyman Dan Coffey to study the zoning codes last year. Coffey presented dozens of changes to the mayor last month but those revisions have largely been kept under wraps, which has led to protests and arguments that the process has not been open and transparent. Coffey will present a preview of what he's recommending at the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce’s weekly Make It Monday forum. The program will be held at the Dena’ina Center in downtown Anchorage from noon to 1 p.m. The cost is $21 for members of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and $25 for non-members. |

Part of a larger UN Agenda 21 program. Agenda 21 has been criticized by economic conservatives, and others here in the United States (Congress has yet to ratify the Agenda) as top-down/authoritarian in nature, a threat to national sovereignty and needed industrial and technological development. Go educate yourself, information is out there.

Charge us to find out what they are doing. which should be free, because it effects us the voter. They only want to here from the people that have money, but not the working man who is interested in what happens but can't afford the fee to attend. Short notice! On a work day when people can not attend. Looks and sounds fishy to me.
