The Department of Fish and Game says it has put online its reasoning and policies surrounding predator control.

The state says at the site people can get information on how Fish and Game manages local game populations in accordance with the state’s constitutional mandate to produce the maximum sustained yield, or the most amount of game possible for an area.

The website includes the methods and protocols used in making decisions to implement predator control – the state-sanctioned killing of large predators like wolves and bears.
