Polynesian Community Celebrates "Aloha Days"

The Polynesian community got together Saturday to bring some sunshine to Anchorage.

It was all part of the 3rd annual “Aloha Days” at the Dimond Center mall’s Ice Chalet.

The event featured entertainment from local dance groups, food and prizes.

Augie Tulba, the event’s host, said, “You get to see music from different island cultures, like Samoa, Tahiti, Hawaii, French Polynesia, so it’s really nice.

“Aloha Days” continued until 7 p.m. at the Dimond Center.

Thank You, Thank You KTVA Channel 11 News & Photojournalist Ms. Rachel McPherron, for coming to see us! Thank you Dimond Center Mall for continuing to bring us Hawaii and the Islands in the wintertime with "Aloha Days"!!! So many friends, families & neighbors joined us and enjoyed this free, family & community event! Next year’s “Aloha Days” at Dimond Center Mall will be Jan. 18th & Jan. 19th, 2013.
