Police Recover Vehicle From Fatal Hit-and-Run

Anchorage police have recovered the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run over the weekend.

Anchorage police say 28-year-old Hubert Tunuchuk II was struck by a vehicle just after 3:15 a.m. Sunday.

Tunuchuk was walking with a group of friends when an unidentified vehicle hit him and fled the scene.

Police say he was rushed to a local hospital and died just hours later having suffered severe head and internal injuries.
