ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police are asking for the public's help in locating 17-year-old Noelle Bell, a cadet who ran away from the Alaska Military Youth Academy on Sunday.

After a visit from her parents, who live in Nome, Bell walked off the academy's campus at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. She requires medication that she doesn't have with her, making police consider her endangered.

Bell is described as a 5'7" Native female with brown hair and eyes weighing approximately 140 pounds, and was last seen wearing her navy blue battle dress uniform.

If you know Bell's whereabouts, police ask you call 786-8900.

It's not only staff. The kids are sent there because of behaviors at home. They are coddled and spoiled brats most of the time...kids who get their way because parents now-a-days just cant say no.

first of all this academy has been very successful over the years and second.. a lot of the spoiled kids today stem from parents is true but also stems from the fact it is Illegal for parents to even discipline there children and kids know this and take advantage of it, " bust my but for doing something wrong I will call the police on you for assault" haha. and you will go to jail. ya thanks to lawmakers we as parents have no rights anymore. therefor the kids will run the world and do what they want.

There are not many details in the story... Are you sure she walked off? Is there a possibility someone took her offbase? Whats being done to look for her other than asking for help from the public?
