Meet Weather and Storm, adult ducks currently up for adoption! 

Ducks adapt well to new environments, provided they have their needs met. They will need a clean, warm, dry, sheltered area with protection from the elements, such as a shed or other small structure surrounded by fencing. 

These two are already great friends and would do well to be adopted together, as ducks are very social and feel happier and safer in a “flock.” They do enjoy a pool of water to splash around in, and need lots of clean water to drink. They also need good quality duck food. 

At least one of these talkative birds is a female, if not both, as shelter staff have been finding an egg each day in their kennel.

If you are looking for an interesting alternative, these pretty waddlers can be adopted for $5 each!
