It is my understanding that in this country, citizens are entitled to due process and there are three branches of government to ensure checks and balances so no one can abuse their power. It is beyond unconscionable for the BON to think that thet have ultimate authority over a Court of Law. Furthermore, to refuse to reinstate Avalon's license in a timely manner is not only egregiously Unitive but should be considered retaliatory as well. The State of Alaska needs to hold the BON accountable for their clearly malicious processes. Avalon has been slandered, people's health was put at risk and Avalon was denied her inalienable right to earn a living. I am embarrassed and ashamed that we allow the BON to continue to act in this manner.

Given that the claims against Ms. Avalon have never been substantiated by ANYONE - not just that she has been absolved in all three of her court hearings, but the Nursing Board and Division of Licensing has never substantiated the claims either – I still don’t understand why is it she is on probation in the first place. Lastly, when is somebody going to investigate the wrong-doings that Ms. Avalon has provided documentation for that started all this in the first place? It seems there are plenty others the Nur
