@Anon Homosexuality nor transsexuality have anything to do with that verse from Leviticus. Just because we are a certain way does not mean we also engage in sexual acts as well. Furthermore, the verse refers to sexual intercourse (implicitly sodomy I suppose), however simply being gay, "gay marriage", and gender identity have nothing to do with sexual intercourse or sodomy. I can be gay and abstinent, I can be trans and abstinent. In both cases I have done nothing that would constitute a Biblical felony. Secondly, the Bible is not the law. Generally speaking, social conservatives like yourself are often found despising Islamic people, as well as their countries, Iran for example, because they are radically oppressive dictatorships basing their civil code of law on Sharia, or Islamic Law. How is this any different than attempting to base the law on the Bible? Attempting to assert your god is the correct god to justify such a hypocrisy is equally unjust, oppressive, and radical.

God loves us all, not just the conservatives and the evangelicals. You don't win favors with God by calling other people names and pretending that you're better than they are because your sins aren't as, well, sinful. According to the Bible - the Good Book that I fear many alleged Christians haven't actually read or are able to fully comprehend - the following would classify you as an abomination: wearing clothes of the opposite sex (my wife wears pants!!); unclean things; customs of pagans (Halloween anyone?); sins of men; lost souls; a proud look; a lying tongue; some same sex acts; feet that are quick to sin; sowers of discord; a false balance or scale; condemning the just; cheating others; remarriage of former companions; eating unclean things (pork anyone?); violence; lying with a menstruous woman; things highly esteemed by man; adultery and many, many more. Just look at this list and tell me that YOU are better than THEY. You can't because you're not. You're an ABOMINATION!

Homosexuality, transgender, etc are all immoral. The Bible says a man shall not lay with another man. Marriage is between a man and a woman and people should not be forced to accept immorality in their businesses or in our schools. As a parent I do want some Mr. who decides he wants to be a Miss telling my kindergartener he is now a girl. This is not only confusing for a child it is way more info than a young child needs to know. It is perverted.

The people that are for Prop 5 don't want equal rights. They want special rights. They want to be themselves and have employers be forced to hire them even if they are not what the employer is looking for.

Just because a person has the right skill set doesn't make that person right for the job. How they mesh with co workers, a certain look, and certain beliefs can all be factors while looking for the right employee. Not necessarily, but they can be. Private people and private companies should be able to hire who they want with out government oversight.

Umm yeah Your right, I've seen male Dogs trying to have sex with other male dogs,a cat, A young boys leg, a baby crawling on a floor and a teddy bear or just about anything. I guess if dogs or other animals do it, then it's okay for a human to do it. Wake up Anchorage!!! these laws are just going to open up a can of worms for all perverts. Protect your kids and family. Yeah, more then one type of wildlife has same sex partners in nature... in 3 seconds I'd bet you can find the news about the gay penguins at a zoo. Happens in birds, mammals, reptiles, fish... what is really amazing is only humans seem to be bothered by it.
