An oil company wants some help in naming its rig.

Buccaneer Energy will soon bring a LeTourneau class 116 jack-up rig to Cook Inlet.

The rig and its crew will be headquartered in Kenai and hope to have a significant impact on the local economy.

If you would like to enter the contest to "Name the Rig," e-mail your suggestions to nametherig@buccaneeralaska.com.

All entries are due by Sept. 23.

The winner will receive two VIP tickets to the Lumberjack Jam and a special tour of the rig when it arrives in the inlet.

The rig was just purchased from Transocean and is expected to arrive in Alaska by next May.
