In an effort to finally put to rest questions about where he was born, the White House on Wednesday released President Obama's long-form birth certificate. Mr. Obama even made an impromptu appearance in the White House briefing room to urge the press and American citizens to drop the issue and focus on the nation's real problems. "We're not going to be able to solve our problems if we get distracted by sideshows and carnival barkers," Mr. Obama said. "We've got some enormous challenges out there. There are a lot of folks out there still looking for work... We do not have time for this kind of silliness." Mr. Obama had in 2008 released on the Internet his "certificate of live birth" -- a short-form birth certificate provided to all Hawaiians as proof of birth in state -- but that failed to quell rumors that the president was born outside of the U.S. |

@Skip - I can't believe you are still using the word "colored." All people are "colored," you are probably a pasty white, as am I. Obama's dad WAS African, not born here and just historically from Africa. They would not have called him a "Negro" on an official document, particularly one listing his birthplace as Kenya. Obama should have released it before; but now it's done. Sick of hearing about it.

Ok. The birth certificate is out and it's legit. Trump, why did you waste my time? And why are you proud of your bullying posture, as you have shown time and time again. You may run for President? If the American voters even dare think of voting for you they have their heads up their behinds. We don't need a reality spectacle in the White House.
