Wyden says that while there are numerous interpretations of how the Patriot Act works, the official government interpretation of the law remains classified. Hmm...so a president (and his supporters) who campaigned feverishly in 2008 against such measures that George W. Bush had helped put into place now want to keep them. As they say, power corrupts.
