It seems like every time we turn around our local and state governments are doing something to halt progress into the future. This has to be one of the few places in America where slow and backward thinking leads to community demise. Look what we have done with the pipelines, the fisheries, construction slow-downs, higher cost of living than most any other state yet wages don't follow. What are we saying in Alaska? I don't believe there is forward thinking by our politicians, only what can they get out of it anymore.

Again from the ADN: This is BS... Weren't the Anchorage population of a quarter million and then some even asked about this lawsuit? Did Self-proclaimed King Sullivan (who hates poor people) ask for advice on this project that would be a Win-Win for the Valley and the Anchorage residents? No!!! People, please wake up and see what we have for a mayor. He thinks he's smarter than the Alaskan "rubes" and be careful.... somewhere he is making money on this. Like his father? I think not, check his connections.... Read more: http://www.adn.com/2011/07/07/1956920/city-wants-ok-for-knik-bridge.html#disqus_thread#ixzz1RayIqvas
