OMG! He's talking about a second term already. I could hardly stand his first three. It's funny to hear him talk respectfully of Scandinavian countries, like Finland, because Teabagger types are rarely enamored with anything perceived as even-slightly-Socialist.

So His Honor learned we need good teachers for our schools. Then he learned there is a cost to attracting and attaining good teachers for our schools. He could have called Carol Comeau for that, but then he wouldn't be seen as the tough, independent guy (who just happens to be running for reelection) who can make up his own mind. Okay, Dan, what now? Do you propose to raise teacher salaries or maybe give them the kind of decent benefits they used to receive? Remember, all this costs dough. Yeah, I didn't think so. The plan is to be the man and the man doesn't want people in this town to have to pay for what they say they want, things like good teachers. Gee, Dan, what happens now?
