A 39-year-old Anchorage man has been arrested for duct-taping an 18-year-old woman to a tree in Kincaid Park and then trying to rape her.
Police say that on Aug. 15, at about 5 p.m., Jeremy Bienek told the woman he would teach her to drive, but instead drove her to a remote trail in Kincaid Park where he duct-taped her to a tree, duct-taped her mouth and hands, and tried to rape her. Anchorage Police Department Special Victims Unit detectives arrested Bienek yesterday. Court documents indicate that Bienek has a lengthy rap sheet that includes assault, theft and drunken driving charges. He remains behind bars on a no-bail condition. According to SVU detectives, Bienek is a family friend of the 18 year old. SVU detectives also report that in two-thirds of the department’s sexual assault cases, the victim knows their attacker. |

I agree the white man gets no bail yet the obvious forign national walks away 2 hrs after he commited the crime. This doesn,t seem right. The forifgn national doesn,t have priors because he probably hasn,t been in this country more than a few years. Double standard

I know someone who had no priors and had a $75000 bail and did the same thing...They need to keep this stuff consistent for all of them. He didn't do it it came out in the end but seriously this is ridiculous..where are the cab drivers now? Will they do this again? What are our people doing to keep it from continuing??? $5000 is like a slap in the face..If I was one the one who was attacked it would be like rape all over again!

lmao don't be ignorant, look at the actual text, the guy had a ton of priors the other 2 cab drivers supposedly had none. of COURSE he's gonna get slapped with the no-bail if any of the three are. i'm beginning to think that the minorities are the racist ones not whites, cuz when was the last time a black, mexican or asian was ever accused of being racist...? my only thing was...attempted rape? she was duct taped to a tree...did he go soft or what? i mean thank goodness he didn't ACTUALLY rape her but so what happened then and how'd he get caught? kinda would be nice to know if the girl is ok or not...

No bail for this POS because its obvious that its a white family, white girl, white background, but APD post bail on the previous 2 rapists (innocent until proven guilty, trying to be human i guess), for 5 grand since the women involved are minorities? Sad, very sad I weep for the future
