Anchorage police say they've arrested a 49-year-old man who's accused of robbing a First National Bank on Northern Lights Boulevard on Oct. 12.

According to an APD spokesperson, Aubrey Haynie walked into Faith Christian Community Church earlier Thursday and told someone there that he had robbed a bank, but didn't want to return to jail.

Police were notified and shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Haynie was arrested and is back behind bars.
