Male Body Found in Eagle RiverCrime scene in progress; no identification madeRelated ContentPhoto of road closure by CBS 11's Kate McPherson EAGLE RIVER - Police have blocked off the top of Golden Eagle Drive in Eagle River after a man's body was found in a ditch on the side of the Golden Eagle Drive. Police will not say what state the body was found in. The body was found by a woman who was walking by, and screamed, which alerted neighbors in the area who called police about 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. Police closed off the road about 2:20 p.m. Tuesday. Crime scene investigators were arriving on-scene at approximately 2:40. The body had still not been recovered from the ravine at 2:49 p.m. Earlier today, Anchorage police announced they believed missing Airman Clinton Reeves was the victim of foul play, but they have not identified this body as that of Reeves. Police said they were contacting the Reeves family to inform them of the discovery. This is a developing story. |

I have the highest respect for ALL men and women in Uniform. THAT WOULD INCLUDE THE POLICE..... So you get a few bad eggs in a basket? Is it my place to say they ALL are like that?... Do I judge them??! NO!..... It will NEVER be my place to say these things..... Walk a mile in their shoes and see what they go through.

Please do not be idiots! Cops, police officers, detectives, etc. have no super power control over the freaks that think they can get away with craziness in Alaska just because we are 'the last frontier, or out in the boonies'. Our police force does an amazing job with as many weirdos ad they have to deal with. I am proud and thankful for them. I'm a corrections officer and get to deal with these fray asses on a daily basis, truth be told!

No Foot in mouth here! COPS ARE STUPID! They only protect and serve themselves! Honesty and integrity....WHERE?? I was a victim first, then revictimized by the Injustice system over and over, all due to cop negligence!! So if your house is on fire, get a bucket! If your kid is lost you better start looking for yourself as the cops will waste the most important hours twiddling their thumbs! If your house is being robbed...well, thats the beauty of owning a gun! However the cops will then make you out to be the bad guy for protecting your property! Should I go on???????????? They don't keep anything or anyone SAFE! I know the cop mentality, especially considering I have some in my own family. The public are a joke to them! How about the fact that they too assault people!! Innocent people, in an unspeakable manner and hide behind their badges!!!!!!!!! Stuff your foot in your own mouth!
