Mackey's Wife Faces Assault Charges in CourtArraigned todayRelated ContentTonya Mackey, wife of four-time Iditarod champion Lance Mackey, found herself facing assault charges in Anchorage court today. Anchorage police said they responded to the Millenium Hotel around 9 p.m Monday, where charging documents claim Mackey caused "reckless physical injury" to a family member referred to by the initials "L.M." Lt. Dave Parker, a spokesman for the Anchorage Police Department, said responding officers found enough physical evidence to take Mackey into custody, and she was held without bail until her arraignment today. |

Tonya is a drunk, and a crazy drunk at that..I don't know the deal with him...maybe drugs but unsure about that one. She's also a cheater..so I'm assuming that's why she was arrested at a hotel and not at home where people usually beat on each other

what is even more insane is the fact that more men than women are raped each year by other men. mostly due to prison rapes by minority's on white males. let's not talk about that tho....

Not so crazy Rich. If a man hits a woman even in defense, he can wind up in jail and has repeatedly in the past. So, what's good for the gander is also good for the goose. NOBODY deserves to be hit.
