Lean Cuisine and its parent company Nestle have issued a recall for Lean Cuisine Dinnertime Selects Chicken Fettuccini meals because of an incorrect product label—namely the fact that the product may contain shrimp instead of chicken.

According to the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, fewer than 200 packages of the chicken-labeled product contain the shrimp. The ADEC also confirms that the product has been distributed in Alaska.

Because shrimp is a common and potentially life-threatening allergen, Nestle advises consumers with shellfish allergies or sensitivities to avoid the product.

Look for product with the following package markings:

  •  UPC code 13800-14880
  • Production code 1253595911G (located on the right flap of the package)
  • “Best before” date of October 2012

No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported.

If you have questions, you can call Nestle’s consumer services at 1-800-542-6935 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.
