In Fairbanks, Alaska Superior Court Judge Michael P. McConahy issued his decision in lawsuits against the Alaska Redistricting Board regarding the redistricting plan the board issued in the wake of the 2010 census.

The court found House Districts 1, 2, 37 and 38 would be sent back to the Redistricting Board "to be redrawn in harmony with the Alaska Constitution."

The Alaska Redistricting Board will meet on Tuesday to discuss the impact of the decision and whether or not to appeal to the Alaska Supreme Court.
