ANCHORAGE – Four purple hearts, nine national service medals, 14 combat action badges – a successful year for the 22 soldiers from JBER’s 486th movement control team.

A ceremony was held at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson after the unit returned from a year-long deployment in Kuwait.

“Coming back here it's nice, but most of us will start to take leave tomorrow, to go home a spend a lot time with our families and it's well deserved,” said Antoino Reynolds.

For the last 12 months, the team provided transportation support for troopers moving out of Iraq.

Four purple hearts, nine national service medals, 14 combat action badges and one purple heart....Isn't it easier to say 5 Purple Hearts?
