ANCHORAGE - On Wednesday, March 21, CBS 11's Bill McAllister sat down with Kurt Gibson, director of the Alaska Gas Pipeline Project Office. They discussed the perception that the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act is not working, the potential for alignment among the North Slope producers and AGIA licensee TransCanada, the impact of shale gas exploration in the Lower 48, and the opportunity for Alaska in LNG exports to Asia.

Ron did you watch Channel 13 with news and Mark? They had a worker who called in to say the pipeline is paper thin in some areas and was not suppose to last the 20 year limit on the pipe stability? So, why don't they replace the pipeline with one right beside it, and install a gas line while all the equipment and pipe is already there? That would eliminate alot of problems and hire a lot of folks in Alaska... Pass it on...

Blah Blah....More lip service. People are fed up with the energy costs. Lets feed Alaskans first. Run the line through the interior. Someone NEEDS to make the decision to do the right thing. There are small businesses that would step up and utilize and make sure it would be profitable. Bypass the ideas through Canada. Let's take care of our State and our business for the health of those of us that are the registered voters here in Alaska. What progress is Gibson talking about. All we have heard about for years and years, is the same retoricle comments. MAKE IT HAPPEN ALASKA! You can make sure it does by VOTING!
