ANCHORAGE--Jessica Beagley, the 36-year-old Anchorage mother convicted last week of misdemeanor child abuse, was sentenced to 180 days in jail and $2,500 in fines--all of which are suspended, as long as she continues seeing a counselor, a municipal judge said.

you wonder why some get away with murder and others don't ,,,the COURTS,thoughout the country gets MONEY from somewhere based on the convictions,they have a quota,,,to reach,,oh and don't forget if you have lots of cash to hire the right LIAR ( LAWYER),you can get away with the most heinous of crimes,,,duhhhhh! OJ Simpson,( murder),and that guy KOBE( rape),

well im clad to hear she dont have my name if she did well she would have did jail time but no matter what a woman do,s in the state of alaska and no matter what the crime is they never do the same time as a man would hey look it up yourself its true.

Honestly, people get away with child abuse too easily, then the next time we hear about them the child is dead or seriously injured. They should have thrown this stupid witch in jail!
