ANCHORAGE - On Saturday, June 23, throngs of people headed to downtown Anchorage to watch the annual Hero Games, where police, firefighters and military members went through an obstacle course - changing tires, climbing scaffolding, carrying dummies and more - and competed in other fun contests, along with the annual Solstice Festival, which featured skateboarders, dancers, wood sculpters and more.
