HIV and Syphilis Cases on the Rise in AlaskaState health officials warn of STD outbreaksALASKA - State health officials are trying to get the word out tonight about an increase in both HIV infections and syphilis cases in our state. Syphilis is a serious sexually transmitted disease. This latest outbreak seems to be concentrated mostly in Anchorage, while the spike in new HIV cases is occuring in Fairbanks. State health officials say both of the outbreaks have something in common. “[It] is that they are primarily involving in both these outbreaks men who are having sex with men and who are finding their sex partners online through the internet, through sex-seeking sites,” said Susan Jones of the Department of Health and Social Services. Health officials are urging people to get tested and treated – especially those considered at high risk. |

Yeah, because HETEROSEXUALS never get syphilis right? You christians with your twisted logic are hilarious! Maybe if gays were accepted equally they wouldn't be taking risks to fulfill their NATURAL desires. I recall a huge hospital in NJ where the nuns went to secretly get abortions. You can't prevent natural desires with all the preaching in the world....
