ANCHORAGE - Most kids don't mind playing in the rain, and Tuesday was a great opportunity to do just that, while learning some ball skills.

The Glacier Pilots are holding their 43rd annual youth camp this week. More than 200 children have signed up to improve their baseball and softball techniques from some of the best college players.

The team hopes to inspire young players, and at the same time, young fans get to spend the morning having fun with some of their favorite players.

"All of our players and coaches were there at one point they were little kids learning from older players and coaches and showing the interest in it they look up to a lot of our players and coaches and come out and cheer for our guys," said Glacier Pilots General Manager Jon Dyson.

The free skills session is from 9:30 until noon for the rest of the week at Mulcahy Stadium in Anchorage. It's for kids ages 6 and up. You can still sign up at the stadium.
