Anchorage police say fugitive Kyle Dwiggins, wanted in connection with fraud related to a home remodeling scam and attempting to rent his apartment to multiple people who gave him down payments, was taken into custody without incident on Thursday, December 22 about 9:15 p.m. Members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force ended a week-long manhunt by arresting Dwiggins at a strip mall on West Tudor Road.

Dwiggins is estimated to have scammed $130,000 from 21 victims. He was booked into the Anchorage Jail with bail set at $40,000 plus a third-party custodian.
