Sounds like another U of A "I'm in charge here" generalissimo who hasn't a clue that his primary job is dealing with and leading people; instead of doing as he pleases and driving - not leading - the people who actually do the work. "Education," comes from "educare," which means to educe, to bring forth what is latent or potential in others. Otherwise the progression in them is: Enthusiasm - cooperation - compliance - resistance - revolt.

well the nice thing about a university is there is many to pick from...get an internship to run the university for a year in the final years of some majors...how about that? have faculty and students critique...a mind is a terrible thing to waste!

Maybe if the university was run more efficiently and business like...the state could reduce the cost to students. Sounds more like Gamble has upset the apple cart and those not open to change are crying in their soup. Imagine wanting people to conduct themselves professionally and not sleep on UA time...go figure.

I have no confidence in the faculty and their union...education costs on the rise and no solutions are being suggested by those in the teaching areana. If I have to help fund my retirement and medical...then so should state government workers!
