FBI Conducts a Simulated Hijacking Field ExerciseExercise did not impact flights at Ted Stevens International AirportANCHORAGE – The FBI conducted a simulated hijacking exercise Wednesday morning. Airport Police and Fire collaborated with the FBI, the Alaska North American Aerospace Defense Region, the United States Air Force, the FAA, the Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Administration to make the exercise possible. Exercise Arctic Fencing Interagency (AFI) Arrow 12 featured two military fighter jets escorting an inbound FedEx aircraft. The field training exercise had no impact on flights at Ted Stevens International Airport. |
