Hey Sen. Begich, how about shrinking the footprint overseas -- Alaska is a "strategic" location for force(s) projection -- then move those forces home and station them in Alaska. We need to save money in the defense budget without "hollowing" out our forces. If the move saves money...then so be it. But lets have our allies start spending for their own defense and save our dollars for our needs.
