UPDATE: APD reports all five persons of interest have been released from custody. The Robbery / Assault Unit is continuing to investigate.

From APD: A suspect has been detained in a shooting which took place at the Holiday gas station at East 68th Avenue and Lake Otis Parkway on Thursday. Officers responded to the scene at 6:02 a.m. and discovered a man who had been shot while in the fuel bay area and who had taken refuge inside the store behind the counter. The victim was transported immediately to a local hospital with a serious wound to the arm.

Four other people have been detained as persons of interest. The officers began an investigation and developed suspect information. They located persons of interest at 6:41 a.m.at a nearby residence. Detectives from the Robbery / Assault Unit are continuing this investigation.

amazing how kids can get their hands on guns so easily and then feel like tough guys, but then again when there is no consequence for their behavior then i guess we're all condoning it... this city is already ranked the 5th most dangerous city, are we trying to go for first?

It was probably 2 more 12year olds pullin off another gas station robbery cause they heard about how there buddys that did it the other day are walkin out scott free. What the hell is wrong with this city??????
