5 Dec 2011. West side of C Street just north of Northern Lights, next to the Wells Fargo Bank, after an unseasonable warmth & partial thaw earlier in that week. Sidewalks were still a mess because as usual, Alaska DOT (responsible for C Street snow clearing) had never bothered to plow them.
