Ocean Spray Recalls Craisins® for Possible Contamination by Foreign Materials

(JUNEAU, AK)– Ocean Spray is recalling certain production lots of Original Flavor Craisins® Dried Cranberries because of the potential to be contaminated by the presence of small, hair-like metal fragments.

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation has confirmed that the recalled products have been distributed in Alaska. To date, there have been no reported illnesses or adverse reactions reported in Alaska.

Consumers who have purchased any of the described Ocean Spray Craisin® products are urged to destroy the product, save the UPC label and “Best by” date, and contact the Ocean Spray Consumer Hotline at 1-800-662-3263 for a coupon replacement.
