Congressional Phones Jammed After Obama Appeal to Contact LawmakersPresident Obama on Monday night urged Americans to tell their members of Congress what they think about the current debt negotiations -- and Americans responded.

Meanwhile, multiple congressional websites crashed or slowed down last night after they were inundated with visitors. According to Committee on House Administration spokesperson Sallie Wood, the sites that were impacted are hosted by outside vendors. (Not all sites are hosted by outside vendors -- it's a matter of the member's or committee's preference -- and those sites hosted by House servers were not affected.) The House worked quickly with the impacted members to get their sites back up, and most were repaired last night, Wood said. |

You morons remember that when gasoline goes to $5 a gallon. There won't be another republican elected to either house if they continue this idiocy, much less the White House.

nothing is balanced when you waste and spend more then you bring in, all smoke blown up voters butts by the president, pointing finger, just bend that black finger in a u-turn and you found the right person who got this mess to where its at, and now you black finger pointer just want to keep on spending.

Left winged drivel. The congress is doing what we want and need. It's the senate and the prsesident that haven't grasped the severity of the situation their childlike spending habits have put us into. Keep up the good work House of Reps!!
