ANCHORAGE –Thousands of residents went to West High School Sunday to remember Samantha Koenig.

The 18-year-old was kidnapped from the Common Grounds Espresso stand February 1. The following day she was murdered.

Sunday was a day to remember how she lived. “She was a wonderful person and everyone loved her,” said friend Crystal Griffin. “She did so much for me.

Koenig's remains were cremated in private during a ceremony Easter weekend.

I am tired of our young people being abducted and killed. Minimum, should be 30 years and the MAX should be *death*
