A challenge has been issued for all Alaskans to stand up and speak out against domestic violence.

Wednesday Governor Parnell announced that nearly 100 communities across the state will participate in “Choose Respect” events on March 29.

“Choose Respect” is part of the governor’s statewide initiative to end the epidemic of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Events range from marches to rallies, candlelight vigils and potlucks, planned in communities including Anaktuvik Pass, St. Paul, Hooper Bay and Ketchikan.

There will be an announcement from Washington DC to address past issues of Abuse of Power and Ethics violations of Sarah Palin. I encourage anyone who has been effected by her administration and/or the current administration to go to the WhiteHouse website and scroll down to Office of Civil Rights and file an online complaint. The more they know they more they can assist those effected by crimes.
