Burglary Spree Reported in Delta Junction

Break-ins were reported both Saturday and Sunday afternoon in the Richardson Highway area and in the Nistler Road area, troopers said.

 FAIRBANKS — The Delta Junction area has seen a spike in burglaries recently, according to Alaska State Trooper records. 


Break-ins were reported both Saturday and Sunday afternoon in the Richardson Highway area and in the Nistler Road area, troopers said. In both cases, several items were stolen. Troopers are still investigating.

Another home was reported burglarized June 21 in the Souhrada Road area. A fourth burglary was reported June 16 by the Delta Sportsmens Association. Someone broke in and stole alcohol. 

Delta Junction has about 1,000 people in the area.

Tok, 100 miles southeast of Delta on the Alaska Highway, reported a similar run of three burglaries last month.
