Anchorage police are looking for the people responsible for breaking into a paintball field shop and making off with paintball guns, air tanks and hoppers among other items.

The burglary was first noticed the afternoon of May 25 at the 907 Paintball fields located at 769 Klatt Road.

The burglars broke into a Conex storage container and stole 50 Tippmann Model 98 paintball guns, 50 air tanks and 50 hoppers according to Anchorage police. Five leaf blowers as well as miscellaneous tools and other equipment have also gone missing.

Police suspect the metal box protecting the padlock on the Conex was “likely” destroyed “by a hydraulic cutting instrument or grinding tool.”
