Brothers Accused of Sexually Abusing ChildrenInvestigators say Mark and Craig King could have been molesting kids since '70sANCHORAGE - Two lower Hillside brothers are behind bars, accused of molesting multiple children. Investigators said Mark and Craig King could have been sexually assaulting children since the 1970s. Mark King, 56, and his brother Craig King, 54, had easy access to their victims, according to the Anchorage Police Department. They said both the children and their parents knew and trusted the men. “Unfortunately, [in] these kinds of incidents people do tend to keep them quiet,” said Detective Cindi Stanton. “Don’t keep it quiet. Really what happens is a long-term effect on the victim. The child victim that becomes an adult and has issues at that point in time.” Two victims have developmental disorders. All of them are younger than 15, most younger than 13, and up to as young as 3 years old. “We had an anonymous tip and there was concern,” said Stanton. “This has happened before with the other brother and so we got names and phone numbers to these now-adult women.” The older brother, Mark King, is facing 13 counts of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl for two years. Police said he was arrested in September when the girl told a school official. Mark King admitted to those crimes, but he blamed his victim. Craig King, who is facing 17 counts, was arrested in 1985 for sexual abuse of a minor, but those charges were dropped, according to charging documents. “National statistics [show that] once we finally get a victim to disclose, suspects have up to 107 other victims of various levels of perpetration,” said Stanton. “I believe they probably have many other victims.” Investigators said the abuse may have begun as early as the '70s, and are looking for other victims to come forward. |

I used to tease Craig for being a pedophile back when he married Aimee years ago. 40 year old men dont have anything in common with 19 year old girls. What makes me sick is that their little girl is around 10-12 years old now which leads me to believe that either her or her friends were probably victims and subsequesnt whistle blowers. I hate that anyone has to experience tragedy such as this, but how awful for a father to betray trust like that. Sadly he was accused many years ago of similar crimes with his first daughter (20 years her junior) which were likely true in light of recent events. I can only pray that the victims can learn to heal with time and hope that the damage these two sick people have done will not linger forever. As for Craig and his creeper brother Mark, I wish there was a way for them to be raped, humiliated and scarred for life so that they could understand a fragment of what they did to those kids.

here in the Uk i was a child that was abused as a 7 year old, and now even at 51 i still cant get over it so the damage them poor children will be going through will be with them all there lives a haunting for life so to craig and his sicko brother i pray you both pay dearly for what you have done

Craig... I cannot believe what i have just read... Heres us in the UK worried that we havent heard from you in Months only to find out what you have done, My friends and i Trusted you and thought you were a Decent person, I know i just wrote all this but words fail me... I hope you and your brother get what is coming to you both, Im deeply saddened for your Kids... They dont deserve a father and uncle like you two... BTW this is mild compared to what i was going to type, But i know the little ones will read this... If you ever get to read this, Dont bother to contact us in the future, Your words are not welcome... :(

well this is real evil graig i new from an on line game for a few years. well this is a shock and am so glade now i never went over to see him.. may god have mercy but am sure all them children wont or there families

well I know a guy who raped kids and there are two cases collecting dust...oh right it's linked to Paylins and Toad's prostitution and drug running...
