Body of Fairbanks Man Missing in Harding Lake Found

FAIRBANKS - The body of a man who drowned at Harding Lake has been recovered, Alaska State Troopers confirmed this afternoon.

Patrick Hunsberger, 25, went into Harding Lake on a personal watercraft early July 4, alone and without a life jacket. He never returned.

Friends, family and community volunteers have been searching for his body for more than a week, since a law enforcement-led search concluded he had died and gave up the search.

Very sad situation, but I am glad the family can now have closure. Say a prayer for this fallen angel.
