Assault Suspect Lights Himself on FireRecently out of jail, according to witnessesHarold Finger III, 28-years-old, lit himself on fire Tuesday night after assaulting a woman at an apartment on N. Klevin Street. Out of jail for only a week according to witnesses, Finger, a mixed martial arts fighter, became angry while talking on the phone, and subsequently began punching and kicking a 34-year-old woman in the face and head, while he was wearing gloves with hard plastic knuckles. The victim and two other females hid in a room, one holding her 6-year-old son. According to police, Finger said he wasn’t going back to jail, and poured Prestone ethyl ether fire-starting fluid over his upper body and a door from, then grabbed the 6-year-old, but the women were able to wrest the child away from him. Finger then lit himself on fire with a lighter and burst into flames. One of the women used a jacket to put out the flames, but not before Finger suffered severe burns to his upper body, face and head. He was taken to a local hospital. Police obtained a no-bail warrant for Finger’s arrest on first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, which will be served when they can physically take him into custody. |

If the man lives, he needs to remember the agony & pain of the fire on his body. That is what he is headed for if he dies before getting saved. He needs to repent, ask for forgivness accept Christ as his personal savior.Other wise when he dies, he is headed for far more painful burning that what he experienced in this life. Pray for his soul,he is one of Gods creations & has a choice in where he ends up.

Not going to change. In and out of jail and blaming others for his problems. Not taking responsibility for his own actions and trying to let the 6 year old burn with him. You have to ask the D.A., why not attempted murder?

It's pretty clear what our great "legal system" does to people. Yes, you should be punished when you break the rules. Should you be so traumatized by the punishment that you come out trying to kill yourself? This system REALLY needs some work.

Hmm, Maybe next time, you should just let the fool burn and use a broom to push him out the door so the house doesn't burn down.
