Anchorage Woman Killed in Suspected Hit-and-Run

Around 3:15 a.m., Anchorage police responded to the report of a woman lying in the road at Penland Parkway near the Northway Mall.

Around 3:15 a.m., Anchorage police responded to the report of a woman lying in the road at Penland Parkway near the Northway Mall.

She was found severely injured and wasn’t breathing when officers arrived; efforts to revive her were unsuccessful and the woman was declared dead at the scene.

Police have identified the woman as 25-year-old Geraldine Burns of Anchorage and say evidence found at the scene indicates she was the victim of a hit-and-run.

for what you have done to our family is so wrong! she was a mother to two beautiful children. i hope the korean guy rotts for what he did to my sister. I have never dislike someone like this in my whole life. but you took my sister.!! i hope the guy stays in jail for good! so far i heard he was gulity of attmepted murder.
