After a record-breaking cold snap, Anchorage homeless shelters are nearly bursting at the seams. Spending the night on the street could be deadly, so the question is: Who makes sure nobody has to?

Anchorage’s Safety Patrol is charged with the task, and CBS 11’s Kirsten Swann joined them as they cruised the streets, bringing those in need of shelter to the Anchorage Safety Center.
