Anchorage Rates in Top Ten for Credit Card Debt

ANCHORAGE - Anchorage ranks seventh in the nation for the highest credit card debt, according to manilla.com, an account organization service that helps individuals organize and manage their expenses. The debt was calculated as of December 31, 2012, with Pensacola, Florida leading the pack. Financial planners say it's important to have a plan in place so you can successfully pay off a credit card.

Financial planners also say the most important rule for using a credit card is don't spend the money you don't have.
