Anchorage Inmate Sentenced For Prison Sex CrimesSabil Mujahid had abused three other inmates while serving a ten-year sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm.Related Content
Sabil Mujahid, 54, was sentenced to 40 years in federal prison today for the aggrevated sexual abuse of three other inmates at the Anchorage Correctional Center. Federal District Judge H. Russel Holland said the abuse was some of the worst he'd seen in his 27 years on the bench. Mujahid had abused the three men while serving a ten-year sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm, but it wasn't his first run-in with the justice system. He has previously been implicated in an underage sex trafficking ring, and his criminal record includes counts of attempted murder, assault and drug possession. Holland said Mujahid will serve the 40 years consecutive to his current sentence, and will be placed on lifetime supervision upon release. |

we cannot execute this guy because he has rights and Alaska does not support the death penalty. Jail, is obviously not rehabilitating him - by the sounds of it, the pos is running the joint. and i believe that he had a name and religion change to keep his time in prison more tolerable. What gives? Oh wait, I remember what gives - the victims and the taxpayers.

the death penalty for sex trafficing underage kids would be a good start. but most do not want that (because this guy has rights). so now we have a sex predator behind bars, (obviously not being rehabilitated) receiving three hots and a cot, and by the sounds of it, running the joint. Um, huge problem!

Lets see if I got this right.You are in prison for less than stellar conduct. You get raped, you tell your jailer about it. Charges are made the court punishes the perp. You are a law abiding citizen you get raped, you tell the police about it. You are investigated, you are accused of promiscuiety, you are humiliated in open court. The perp is let go,you are a scum bag. Yeah, this is a wonderful system.

I don't doubt that Mujahid may have been a b@d @$$, but he must of been one in shape 54 year old to play Pokey and the Bandit with these other three dudes. Or these three dues was pretty wimpy. Or he had accomplices. Amount of sleep I will lose tonight thinking about any of this? Zero.
