ANCHORAGE - Some of Alaska’s oldest living veterans were honored Monday on the Park Strip.

A special ceremony recognized about 24 veterans who fought in World War Two.

The ceremony also marked an important anniversary from that war – the day 70 years ago that the Japanese invaded Dutch Harbor.
