It's all about supply and demand. When there is little supply, and no competition, a seller of goods or services can charge more.

supply & demand , get over it , you don't have thousands of people trying to gat to these villages, they have to make their money some how.

It costs almost as much for a round trip ticket to Bethel, from Mountain Village, and Bethel's 120 miles away!! Not only that, some of us got to pay it out of our own pocket, just to go to the nearest Hospital! And you guys are complaining about the price of a ticket to Seattle? Come on give me a break.

Please explain to me how you can offer nice fares to HI, and not to Seattle? I mean really, its further to HI than to WA. What's up with that?

it would be nice to have a special fare from Anchorage to my village. It costs over $1000 dollars round trip to go from Anchorage to Holy Cross. Holy Cross is in Alaska and people in my shoes certainly cannot afford this price. Something need to be done about the skyrocketing fares within Alaska.
