At about 2 a.m. Friday morning, Anchorage police report a 17-year-old female was driving her boyfriend to a local bar to pick up a friend. While the boyfriend was inside and the female was waiting in the car, an unknown male pulled open the passenger door, got inside, and, armed with a handgun, proceeded to have the victim drive to various locations over the next 3 to 4 hours. During this time, the suspect attempted to sexually assault the victim. He eventually had her drive to the area of Fireweed Lane and Northstar Street, where he fled on foot.

Using a description provided by the victim, police compiled a composite drawing of the suspect. He's described as a medium to dark complexion black male, about 40 years old, 5' 9" tall and stocky. He had short, cropped hair, a chin goatee, and was wearing jeans and a black coat and blue poncho-like shirt.

The police ask anyone with information that may lead to the identity of the suspect to call Detective Jade Baker at 786-8530. If you see someone matching the description, call APD immediately at 786-8900. Police advise not to attempt to contact the suspect, as he's considered armed and dangerous.

The Chin Gotee is the giveaway- you know him, you suspect you have seen him, call it in. 786-8900 or crimestoppers if they start a case- get paid for taking out the trash and remain anonymous! If you see him, report the date, time and location, especially in stores where there are cameras! Lets get him off out streets Anchorage- this isnt his last victim, maybe the next will be a 13 year old- CAN YOU HELP?

LOOK! This guy needs to be PUT AWAY ANCHORAGE! If you even THINK he resembles someone you know- report it. Let APD follow up. This is a serious low life scum to do this to anyone- maybe your daughter or wife will be next! He probably lives in that area- REPORT THIS GUY!!!
